As the winter chill continues on and we hope for the first hints of spring to whisper their arrival, Lent begins—a season of reflection, release, and quiet transformation. It is a sacred invitation to surrender our lives of distraction, to turn toward God, and to rediscover the deep, abiding truth of who we are.

This is not a call to self-denial for the sake of deprivation, but an opportunity to returnto come home to our own aliveness, to the fullness of life God longs to give us.

Step into the season of Lent with Release & Receive: Virtual Soul Care Yoga

A 5-week virtual soul care yoga series, inviting you into a journey to release and receive through the season of Lent.

Release & Receive

Each session, we will explore deeper into the heart of Lent—the sacred rhythm of releasing and receiving, death and renewal that the world and seasons mimic around us as the deep rest of winter gives way to the spring celebration of rebirth at Easter.

Through yoga asana (movement), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, soul-nourishing reflection, and contemplative practices, we will embody this journey—exhaling what weighs us down and inhaling the grace that renews us.

Together, we will discover the pattern of release & receive embedded in the season through exploration of key tenants of lent including prayer, repentance, and almsgiving, all while rooting ourselves in the deep goodness of God.

    Classes will be held live over Zoom. The meeting link, ID number and passcode will be emailed to you in the weekly class reminder email sent out the day of each class.

  • 🤲 Weekly Extras

    You'll receive a weekly class follow up email with a 7-day replay of the class to enjoy anytime you'd like, and other bits of inspiration, reflection and practices to nourish your heart throughout the week and season.

  • 🤲 Explore & Expand

    Each week we will explore a new style of yoga asana like hatha, slow flow, yin yang and more, and we'll explore a new contemplative practice to expand your spiritual journey.

Romans 12:1-2

“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you.]

🤲 REPLAY | Can’t make it to the session? No problem! The replay will be set out each week.

🤲 ACCESSIBILITY | All you need is internet access to Zoom, clothes you can move in, a workout mat and journal.

🤲 COST | Registration is the series is $65 CAD (Canadian dollars) per person. Please reach out for accessible costing.

Hi! I’m Aelea! The founder of Wander to Wonder Soul Care, a space for intentional practices that nourish your soul and facilitate a deeper awareness and connection to God and self.

I am a trained and certified Life Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Spiritual Director and finds deep purpose in walking with others as a spiritual companion.

I’ve been offering live virtual yoga classes since Spring of 2020 and it’s become a beloved part of welcoming the seasons. Each session has a unique theme that we get to engage with that draws us deeper into our relationship with God, and deeper into our own self and body awareness. It’s a gift to hold space for you.
